WEDDING TIP ETIQUETTE

I have been receiving a lot of these questions from many Bride and Grooms.
“Do we tip Photographers?”
The answer…….
It honestly is up to you! Do you think they deserve it?
Just like any service you get, if the person provides an excellent service and takes it up a step and beyond expectations. Sure why not?
If the Photographer have a staff. You should tip the Photographer then he/she can split it.
If you tip the Photographer before the event, it can act as a great motivator. Give them a happy start.
I know some Photographers receiving anywhere from $20.00 or as much as a whopping $500.00 tip! haha The $500.00 came from the Bride and Groom’s parents at the end of a well done night. It was a BIG thank you. A more common tip is $50.00 – $100.00. Tips should also be in cash.
This should go the same to all the other vendors. I’m not sure if there are percentages set out there but I’m sure you can search it or go on wedding forums. Everything I have stated are experiences I’ve encountered.
So in closing….IT IS UP TO YOU! Anyone who puts out their hand and expects tip. Is a douchebag. haha
