NEWS FLASH!

March 31st, 2010

I sent out an email to a few friends.

I plan on blowing up Photography this year! <—– good way to start out an email right? haha

This is probably a photographer’s worst nightmare EVER.   Few days ago I was searching for a photo to work on and couldn’t find it.  I realized one of my hard drives crashed :( .  I do have back up files somewhere but will have to do some deep searching.

I’m all about helping each other out.  I’m creating a project called “THE QUICK 5” Lovely couples, Newly engaged, Models, Headshots, Family shoot.  BUT only FIVE spots will be open.  Please email while spots are available (contact@jameslephoto.com).  This will be first come first serve.

After these five spots have been taken.  My normal rates will be back.

BUT who knows, I may just book more sessions with enough interest!

It’s a completely FREE session therefore I will not be asking to be compensated.  But I am accepting monetary contributions for an enjoyable memorable session. Take the time to sign up for this great opportunity, in exchange for your time I am providing priceless photos at little cost to you. This has been a nightmare but it has also opened an opportunity for me to create new beautiful photographs for everyone.

+Please keep checking my BLOG (http://jameslephoto.com/blog/) for future updates of this project.

I already have 2 engagements and 2-3 models book this month.

An interview with the WASHINGTONIAN for being the top upcoming photographers to look out for in the Dc/Md/Va to spit HOT HOT HOT FYIA!  ( okay so I made up that HOT HOT HOT FYIA! part up haha)  The interview is more for being a young photographer pushing the ART back into a enjoyable, creative, super fun photo shoots!  Bringing people’s personalities out in my photographs!

I just heART.

Streetcars coming back to DC

October 15th, 2009
Historic Photographs — Historical Images (from the DDOT Library and Archive)

Streetcars are coming back to the District. Construction is underway on the Anacostia Initial Line Segment (AILS)between the Anacostia Metro station and South Capitol Street. Today tracks are being laid on H Street, NE, as part the Great Streets Initiative. These historic images from the DDOT Archives document the past contribution streetcars made to DC’s transportation system

Tracks await removal on Pennslyvania Avenue, NW, leading to the Capitol in 1962, the year service stopped
